Well our little boy is growing up…..Austin turns one this week…where does the time go?
Now I have done quite a few of these cake smashing sessions for clients but…..I have NEVER seen one destroyed in such a short time. On my exif data for the images from start to finish…it took a total of 4 min. and 40 sec. to absolutely demolish the cake. We were laughing so hard we forgot to start the video camera till half way through it. There was cake EVERYWHERE….even on my ceiling in the studio. It was almost like Austin thought …..”man I have got to totally take advantage of this before mommy and daddy take it away”. I don’t think Austin ate very much he was too busy ripping it apart and throwing it in the air.
I am not sure who had more fun Aunt Deb, Mommy, Daddy or Austin……but a great time was had by all

Actually 1 year old Quinn was a superstar last night as well as his lovely parents Amanda and Al Boznar. It was yet another beautiful fall evening last night. The 4 of us packed up the stroller and went for a lovely walk along a trail…just talking and every once in a while stopping to take some fun family photos. Thanks so much to the Boznar family for the cold beer and a great evening….I had a blast

18 years ago today the world lost an amazing person. My father died of Cancer at the age of 49. He is greatly missed by all. I had an amazing relationship with my father, we spent a lot of time together Hunting and Fishing every weekend possible and I sure miss that. But what I really wish is that he could have met his grandson Austin who was named after him. Every time I look at my son I see my father in him, his blond hair and blue eyes are much the same as my fathers were but it is Austin’s expressions that really make me see my dad in him and that I am so grateful for. Dad I miss you greatly and I only hope I can be as good a father to Austin as you were to me

Fall Family Portraits in Kitchener Waterloo
Meet 10 month old Ryder. Denise and Christian Stievenart brought their 2 adorable boys ( Chase 2.5 and Ryder 10 months) out for some great family photos yesterday. We met at a beautiful park and went for a nice walk. We stopped every so often to take some photos of the family and sometimes just of the kids. Now, Ryder was a little hard to get to crack a smile but I think this image really shows his character. He’s the “strong silent type” for sure. Deep in thought and full of ideas how to keep him mom and dad on their toes!
It was a wonderful day with this charming family and the photos really reflect what a strong bond the four of them have. Thanks so much for the great afternoon!

Family Photographers in Georgetown, Ontario
Well I am not to sure about what season it is right now in Ontario…….I was wearing jeans and a jacket last night on a family session 
5 days ago I was photographing a wedding and was probably suffering from dehydration because it was so hot……crazy.
But the cooler temperatures sure make it nicer for family photos. I had an amazing night with 5 year old Riley and his beautiful family. I was warned ahead of time that Riley’s little brother Myles was very very shy…….well he hasn’t met this photographer yet. How does that saying go ” like putty in my hand”….all it took was me being a bit goofy (which is how I am all the time anyway), who knew that smelling a weed could be so funny?
Most of the night we just let these 2 boys play and have fun….but we did get a chance to take some really cool photos as well.
A big thanks to this beautiful family for a great fall….er….summer evening….. I had a blast
