This lovely couple are a lot of fun to hang out with on a Friday night (well and all the mosquitoes too). I have to be honest and say I didn’t know what to expect with Joe and Joanne as we had only met once and that was at a coffee shop last winter. But man is this couple fun……and well lets just say Joe has a wicked playful side to him that I was not expecting ( I LOVE surprises like that). I got to know this amazing couple and seen first hand how in love they really are. Looking forward to Sept. 16th

Wedding Photographers in Kitchener Waterloo
Had the chance to spend some time with this lovely couple last night at the very beautiful
Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp just outside of New Hamburg, Ontario. We walked around this beautiful property getting to know one another and of course we also took a few photos . I learned a great deal about this young couple….one is apparently the mosquitoes at Hidden Acres only bother photographers and Fiances as Kyle and I probably lost a pint of blood between the two of us and Tina was never bothered by them. I also learned that Kyle has an amazing sense of humor and kept me smiling and laughing all night long . We also talked about their special day and the people involved…and I have to say I am really looking forward to working with their wedding party…they sound like they will be a blast to hang out with. Tina Ashley and Kyle Wheaton are set to be married September 17, 2011, it is going to be an amazing day. Thank you Tina and Kyle for a great evening….I had a blast
Cambridge Mill Weddings
FINALLY a beautiful summer evening.
And what a great way to spend it….taking photos of beautiful people:)
Dave and Diane are getting married on July 9th at the very beautiful Cambridge Mill so last night we went out to take some engagement photos. We met in the cute little town of Elora and went for a walk and got to know each other on a personal level……which actually means they now know how much of a goof ball I really am
We stopped at a few places to take some photos and talk about their special day and by the sounds of it…..it is going to ROCK.
We also spent a bit of time teaching Diane how to kiss in front of a camera….this turned out to be a bit more of a challenge than I thought……but she had it down pretty good by the end of the night…. (let me explain that so I don’t get in trouble with my wife….Dave was doing the teaching not me )
I am really looking forward to spending time with Dave and Diane on their wedding day…..it will be incredible
Stratford Engagement Session
Still waiting on our baby to arrive….but I am sure getting a lot of editing done in the mean time

Engagement Session in Stratford
I was in Stratford, Ontario last night with Rory Sutherland and Karine Kautz shooting some engagement photos. Rory and Karine are set to be married on June 11, 2011 at the Aberfoyle Mill. Yesterday started out at the very scenic McDonald’s Parking lot on HWY 8, not sure who’s idea this was but the photographer quickly took charge before Rory made it to the kids playground inside
We spent a fun afternoon walking around Stratford stopping every once in a while so they could make out….I mean so I could take some images. It seamed every where we went the “Laughing Mallard” would follow…..still think he was laughing at the pink cowboy boots or he thought you were Brad Pitt:)
We ended the evening with a lovely coffee and chat about their wedding day……and I just know we are going to have a blast.
Thanks Rory and Karine for a great day and I am really looking forward to your special day. And as your wedding is outdoors I just know the “Laughing Mallard” will find you
Waterloo Photographers
Had a blast with Stephanie Wong and Andrew Higgins (Higgy) this afternoon. Tried to get their engagement session in but the rain just would not cooperate with us…..but we did manage to get a few images and had a few laughs as well. Oh and Steph managed to fall in the river too….and this lead to some great advice from her future husband, “Maybe you should jump a little farther next time”

We finally gave in to the rain gods when lightning started coming down and decided to try again another day
