Christmas is in the air…..well that and a pending snow storm for Southern Ontario. I am guessing many of you are enjoying all the Christmas Parties and Holiday get togethers. My family and I are getting ready to head to the first of many family get togethers this Holiday Season. Please be careful when driving this winter and as always never ever drink and drive.

Trinda and her 6 year old son Grayson dropped by for some family photos in the studio yesterday. All I can say is I hope when my son is 6 he is still giving his mom hugs and kisses just like Grayson does.

Well as some of you may well know Kim and I are now proud parents…..sooooo life is a bit hectic right now. I haven’t been posting much here lately but that will change now as things are starting to settle. I have also been crazy busy with family and Christmas photos. Here is a fun image from a shoot with the Sheppard Family a few days ago. I was invited out to their beautiful home in between Guelph and Milton to shoot some family photos. This session was a Christmas gift from their daughter Ashley Sheppard. It was a chilly day with a bit of snow on the ground so we started out inside buy a beautiful fire and had a glass of wine, well Trevor had a beer but the rest of the family had wine After we all got toasty warm from the fire (and the wine) we ventured outside and did some shots on their beautiful property. It was a great afternoon filled with many laughs and many attempts to jump in unison

What a great time I had spending a morning with Pam, Tyler and 18 month old Ben. (yes he is only 18 months) I have had the great pleasure in photographing Ben a few times already in my studio so I was very pleased to spend some time with him in his own home. Although I might have created a couple bad habits that I am sure his parents will spend weeks trying to undo

First you moved on hands and knees,
Then you were up on your feet.
We’re chasing you all around the house;
We’re tired; we need a retreat!
Your food is smeared over the table;
Your food is on the floor;
Seems the only place food didn’t go,
Is in the baby we adore.
Diapers here and diapers there,
Stinky… smelly… Whew!
Diapers would have done us in,
If we didn’t love you as we do.

SO it was back to work for me yesterday after a very eventful couple of weeks
Pam, Tyler and 18 month old Ben had me out to their house for some family photos yesterday. This type of photography is a blast as I get to spend time with young families in their home. We just hung out for a couple of hours playing with Ben, drinking coffee and of course taking a few photos as well. It is fun seeing people in their own environment, reading books, playing on the bed, and just hanging out. I will be making a fun slide show of their session and will be sharing that in the next couple days so check back in here in the next day or so.

Austin Lee Wills
Born November 17, 2010
Austin made his appearance at 11:26 pm and weighed in at 9 lbs 3 oz….and is a whopping 21 1/2 inches long
His mother is a ROCK STAR and the most amazing person I have ever met (next to my son).
Both Mom and Austin are doing well and dad is incredibly proud of the both of them.
