“My name is Amanda and I am 21 years old. I was told to write something about myself but I am struggling with it because there is no one thing that defines who I am. There is no one quality or experience to define who I am. I am a complex, diverse person with high ambition for my goals in life. I might not know where I will end up, but I know what I want and I am willing to embrace every failure I have. Through failures I have become the person I am today. I did the next top model contest to kick off this new chapter in my life. As a recent college graduate and a start in a new career my life has changed dramatically over a short period time. I wanted to celebrate making it through this change by doing something special. And what is more special than getting dolled up and feeling invincible like you do at a photoshoot when it is all about you. Often we all forget sometimes that it is okay to be selfish and do something for yourself. We get caught up in what’s happening tomorrow or what’s happening 2-5 years from now and forget that we need to live each day as it comes.” –  Amanda
