Abi Dube

“Hi,  My name is Abi Dube and I am 18 years old. I’m currently in the Film and Television Production program at Humber college. I love my program because everyone is so passionate to be there. I have a beautiful older sister, wonderful mom and “nephew”/dog named Baloo who loves to cuddle, even though he is 80 lb! I think my biggest goal has been to challenge myself to do things that make me uncomfortable, in order for me to grow as a person. Which for someone coping with a General Anxiety Disorder, is a lot to say the least. But so far I’ve gotten the opportunity to travel twice to Kenya, won a trip to India, was able to get into a program that accepts only 100 applicants of the 800 that apply, and very recently I’ve entered into a modelling competition! I think what I’m trying to say is that you have to be you. You have to learn to love yourself and take every opportunity that comes your way. And it’s taken me a while to figure that out!”

We are coming to the end of our Next Top Model Contest for 2015. Judging will be in November and preparations are already being made for next years contest.
